Food was great with reasonable prices. Great drinks from the bar. Great wait service. Have a fire pit in outside patio area.

Situated inside the doubletree hotel by the bay club, the Players Restaurant features some upscale food. After spending the night, I decided to give it a try for breakfast. I was impressed with the generous portions and fair prices. As a Hilton Gold Member, I was also able to receive a credit on my meal, so it was essentially free. Can't beat that. At the time I dined, it wasn't incredibly busy, so I got served rather quickly. I'd even consider just dining at the restaurant and foregoing the stay in the future!

I stay at this hotel a lot for work when I travel from the east coast. When I stay here I come down to the restaurant bar for dinner/drinks every night instead of going anywhere else because the food is good, but more importantly the staff is amazing. Shout out to Ricardo, Rafael, Gustavo and Nicole for being such welcoming faces. They have created a home away from home environment.

For a hotel breakfast buffet, this is pretty decent. Pros: All you can eat well cooked thick cut bacon Tasty scrambled eggs Lots of pastries Omelette station Unlimited juice and coffee Fresh fruit Bagels, cream cheese and lox Lots of cereal options if that's your jam Waffles with real maple syrup Friendly staff Can watch the news while eating breakfast Can charge it to your room or pay with card Cons: Didn't see anywhere to get tea? $20 is only worth it if you have a big appetite (wasn't included with my room) Wished the fruit was more than just melon and apples and maybe bananas. Some berries would have been cool. Potatoes were meh

We ordered the Thai chicken wings per the recommendation of the restaurant. Wow! The flavor was explosive and delightful. We also enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries. Although our order was to go, they made sure to pack all the condiments and utensils to make it feel like a dine in experience.

Here am I at a American restaurant and having tuna tartare Japanese style complete with tobiko yum. No sake here but paired with a Michael David Chardonnay awesome! Great service as usual thanks to my master mixologist Carlos.

Came here for late afternoon snacks. My daughter wanted mac and cheese. She got a large apple juice. I thought it was going to be served in a little cup. I went with the cheese quesadillas. It came with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. I got an iced water to drink. The cheese quesadillas were really good. I tried my daughter's mac and cheese. It was too bitter for me. More of the cheddar taste than the normal cheese flavor. Our server was awesome. I didn't get his name but he told me he's been working at this hotel for three months. My mom was making the server laugh because of my mom's facial expression on her face when she heard the soup of the day. The server and I just laughed. I told him my mom is picky when it comes to soup. He was very nice and friendly. I told him we are from San Diego visiting. Made some friendly conversation. He even advised us on the area and traffic. The dining area was cool. There's a big screen television up front where you can watch baseball or sports. Other television screens were across the dining area. There were restrooms near the corner of the dining area. Pretty good place to eat with great customer service.

Not a bad place for being inside the double tree. They had a good menu with great options and the house wine was Justin at 6 a glass.

Ate breakfast here daily when I stayed in the DoubleTree. Always had the breakfast buffet, which included an omelette station. Service was friendly, and only on two mornings did I have to ask for the breakfast bar to be restocked of a few items they were out of. Prices weren't bad for a restaurant paired with a hotel.
